“You are very entertaining to them, like someone who sings love songs with a beautiful voice or plays fine music on an instrument. They hear what you say, but they don’t act on it!”

Tends toward TMI, so here's the short list: guitar and banjo (both of which have been much neglected as of late), bicycling (ibid), dogs, very black tea, and contemplating and commenting on deep philosophical thoughts about which I have had no academic or professional training. Oh, also reading, writing, but I shy away from arithmetic.

  1. Seems they had pretty talkers and nice singers in Ezekiel’s day too. Ezekiel’s point was that there was no spirit, no change, no effect. Entertainment was nice. I understand too well. Now if OTHERS (thanks Salvageable) would just get with it!
