Negiel Bigpond is a full-blooded Euchee/Yuchi Indian and fourth-generation minister of the Gospel.  His Euchee name is Au wa day, which means Sky Hunter, One Who Seeks Vision, and he has been in the ministry since 1975 as Morning Star Ministries.  Always having a heart for those in prison, Dr. Bigpond has a prison ministry and is a certified drug and alcohol abuse counselor.  With Dr. Jay Swallow, who is now in heaven, Dr. Bigpond traveled to Washington, D.C., to testify before a Senate Committee on Resolution 15, which resulted in the passing of a joint resolution of apology to Native peoples for ill-conceived policies and broken treaties with Indian tribes by the US government.*
