“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.”

Tends toward TMI, so here's the short list: guitar and banjo (both of which have been much neglected as of late), bicycling (ibid), dogs, very black tea, and contemplating and commenting on deep philosophical thoughts about which I have had no academic or professional training. Oh, also reading, writing, but I shy away from arithmetic.

No doubt our help comes from Him! We live and move and have our very being at the will of God. He helps us who follow Him in all things which are good for us…

Oh you are welcome, Dawn. I’ll be by often as I believe in supporting those who help to support my site. Also, I want quality, God-loving souls to be friends with here, such as yourself…

That’s about the most comforting thought I have heard all day. Sometimes I have to remind myself that my help does come from the One who breathed and spoke and boom…here it all was. Surely He can take care of me, if He did all of that.

That’s one of my favorite verses 🙂 It is such a comfort to know that we are never alone and that He is always there! Thanks for the reminder 🙂

One of my favorite verses! And refreshing to read on a day that I feel so personally powerless. Good to remember that God is the one with the power and not me!

When we know we’re powerless, then God can do something with us. Thank you for your comment!
